Terms of use

Tafric is a marketplace that introduces Turkish manufacturers to buyers in Africa. We provide the platform, verification tools and matching; we are not a party to the commercial contracts that members conclude with one another and do not act as buyer, seller, agent or broker in those contracts.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Accounts are for business use by companies and their authorised representatives.

You are solely responsible for the content you publish, including product listings, requests (RFQs), offers and messages, and warrant that you have the right to publish it and that it is accurate and lawful. We may moderate, rank, suspend or remove content that breaches these terms or that we cannot verify.

You may not post false or misleading information, infringe others' rights, circumvent verification, scrape the platform, or use Tafric for anything unlawful. Suspicious or fraudulent accounts are closed permanently.

Paid plans are billed as described on the membership plans page. Prices exclude VAT; VAT is added at checkout. Membership does not renew automatically: when the period you paid for ends, the account returns to the free tier unless a new payment is made. You can upgrade at any time; the unused value of your current paid plan is converted into extra days on the new one automatically.

The Tafric name, logo, software, design, database and all platform content (other than member-supplied content) are owned by Tafric or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from them. By publishing content on the platform, you grant Tafric a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, translate and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the marketplace; you retain ownership of your content and warrant that you hold all necessary rights to it.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that any transaction will be concluded, that any counterparty will perform, or that any good, offer or company information is accurate, safe or lawful; verification and the Verified badge are indicative signals, not a guarantee. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tafric is not liable for the acts, omissions, goods, services, payments or defaults of members, for any dispute between members, or for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss; where Tafric is nonetheless held liable, its total liability is limited to the fees you paid to Tafric in the three (3) months preceding the event. You agree to indemnify and hold Tafric, its officers and staff harmless from any claim, loss, damage or expense (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your content, your transactions with other members, or your breach of these terms or of any applicable law. Neither party is liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control (force majeure), including natural disasters, war, strikes, outages, or acts of authorities.

We may suspend or close any account that breaches these terms or that we reasonably suspect of fraud or misuse, without prior notice where necessary. Our records and logs, including the electronic record of your acceptance of these terms (time, version and IP), constitute valid evidence under Article 193 of the Turkish Code of Civil Procedure. We may update these terms; material changes are announced on the platform and, where required, notified to you, and your continued use constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the Central Courts and Enforcement Offices of İstanbul (Çağlayan) have jurisdiction over any dispute. Questions? Contact us.
