Categories of cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Sign-in, session security, remembering your plan and remembering your cookie choice. The site cannot function without these. | Always on |
| Preferences | Remember your language, theme (light/dark) and layout choices. Stored in your browser, not shared. | Set locally |
| Cookieless analytics | Aggregate statistics on visits and on how pages are used: Umami (hosted on our own servers) and PostHog (EU data region). Until you accept optional cookies nothing is stored on your device, so visits cannot be linked to you across page loads, and there is no cross-site tracking. | Nothing stored |
| Analytics & session recording | PostHog (EU data region) stores an identifier in a cookie and in local storage to link your visits, and records how you interact with pages (clicks, scrolling, page changes) so we can find errors and improve the product. In recordings, form fields are masked and email addresses and phone numbers are hidden. Used on the public site and the supplier panel, never on the buyer panel or internal admin pages. | Only with consent |
| Marketing | Meta Pixel and Google Ads measure the performance of our advertising. These providers set their own cookies, which they may also use for advertising across other sites. | Only with consent |
Managing cookies
On your first visit a banner lets you accept or reject optional cookies. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the site works the same either way. Until you decide, only strictly-necessary cookies, local preferences and cookieless analytics run. You can change your choice at any time below: withdrawing consent stops optional cookies and session recording from that moment, removes the identifiers they stored in your browser, and does not affect processing that took place before. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although strictly-necessary cookies are required for sign-in to work.
